This qualification is the natural progression for individuals who have successfully completed the Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF), offering a broader scope of practice and opening doors to enhanced employment opportunities. Intended Audience: Ideal for those aiming to advance their career within the NHS or private ambulance services, this nationally recognized Prehospital care qualification is designed for: * Emergency Care Assistants * Intermediate Ambulance Practitioners * Event Medical Providers * Associate Practitioners * Healthcare Assistants It's also tailored for individuals seeking specialist roles in the military, police, and fire services. Overview: * Duration: 20 hours of pre course study prior to an immersive 5 day classroom based course followed by 121 hours of ‘off course’ study including the completion of 3 workbooks that are subject to formal evaluation. * Content: Aligned with the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level E, this qualification empowers learners with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to handle a broad spectrum of Prehospital care emergencies. Topics include major incidents, fracture immobilization, sick and injured children, mental health issues, and more. Assessment Methods: * Practical Assessments: 3 hands-on assessments evaluate your ability to apply knowledge in practical scenarios. * Skills Tests: 2 skills tests assess your proficiency in key Prehospital care skills. * Learner Workbooks: 3 comprehensive workbooks guide your learning journey. * Invigilated Exams: 2 final exams ensure a thorough evaluation of your understanding and readiness. Entry requirements: Learners must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the training. Learners must hold a valid (in date) Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or a valid (in date) Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) qualification or a Qualsafe recognised equivalent and provide continuing professional development (CPD) profile containing evidence of 118hrs study and/or contextualised practice before they can begin the Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF).


Cancellation Policy

Full payment will be taken at the time of booking. If you need to cancel please do so within 4 weeks of the scheduled start date. After this point you will not be entitled to a full refund. Please see the following terms for cancelation; Before 4 weeks of scheduled start date = Full refund. 3 weeks before scheduled start date = Full refund minus Qualsafe registration fee + booking fee. 1 - 2 weeks before scheduled start date = 50% refund minus booking fee.
